Surrender yourself to God -AADISHRI ARUN
Surrender is a key step in our journey towards self-realization. Most of us rebel against surrendering to anyone outside of ourselves. We have been brought up to believe that we have to strengthen our ego, gain skills and knowledge and by that we can progress in our goals. These goals could be spiritual or temporal. For us everything in life-including God-realization is a project. A project for which we have to work towards diligently.
The nature of God-realization is totally different. It is only by completely surrendering to God’s will that we can be self-realized. Why is this so? The reason is that when we are ruled by the Ego, all we can see is a limited world. I, Me, Myself is what our life revolves around. In that situation the world is divided into two categories. The first category is Me and all those things that belong to me. The second category is those things that are not in the first category! (more…)

Many of you are seekers of the divine kingdom. Your aim is to have a relationship with the only reality – that is God. But you find yourselves lost on the path and your urge to seek God does not seem to bear fruit. Many of you get disheartened at your constant failure. Some of you feel an inferiority complex – that you will never be able to find salvation.
As you go through the turbulence of life, you realize that there is nothing certain in life. Anything can happen and on many occasions you find yourselves helpless in spite of our best preparations. That is the time many of you turn to God and pray to Him to solve your problems. You expect God to turn your sorrow into joy and to get rid of your difficulties and troubles. Most of you remember the Lord only in times of trouble and that’s when you quickly remind Him that He is your father and therefore it is His duty to help you. You also remind Him that it is His duty to He help you as He had promised to do so.
FROM TEACHING OF AADISHRI ARUN: The pursuit of Happiness is a basic goal of all humans. Whatever we may desire and however varied our desire may be, the essential fact is that all of us desire nothing more than to be happy. The difference between the goals of different people is that different people desire different objects in their pursuit of happiness. Some people pursue wealth to be happy. Some people pursue, power and prestige, some may pursue fame and acclaim and some will pursue happy relationships. The objects of desire may be different but the basic urge-to be happy- remains the same.
