What is New Covenant ?
A covenant is an agreement between two parties. The new covenant is an agreement between God and humans. Now question is why does God need a New Covenant with man? It is obvious that God greatly desires to establish a close, personal relationship with His greatest creation – man (Bible, Genesis 1:26 – 27). One of the ways he will accomplish his goal is through new agreements with humans, both conditional and unconditional.
