When to pray?

Time has fixed to do every work ; for example time for weeping, time for laughing, time for sleeping, time for awakening, time for sowing the seed, time for harvesting etc exactly the time is fixed for doing prayer also in our daily life. Bible has also prophesied very clearly concerning these above things in Ecclesiastes and at the same time in Psalms also. You must see what the Biblical prophesy says? Bible, Ecclesiastes 3:1 has prophesied -“To every thing there is a season and a time to every purpose under the Heaven.” Bible, Ecclesiastes 3:2 has prophesied -“A time to be born and a time to be die; A time to plant and a time to pluck up that which is planted.” (more…)

How to sit on Meditation

Meditation is the demand of Present Era. Thus one must know clearly how to sit on meditation. When you sit on doing practice for meditation you need to have a comfortable seat and a good posture. The most important feature of the posture is to keep your back straight. To help you do this, if you are sitting on a cushion you make sure that the back of the cushion is slightly higher than the front, inclining our pelvis slightly forward. It is not necessary at first to sit cross-legged, but it is a good idea to become accustomed for sitting in the posture of Padmaasan. If you cannot hold this posture you should sit in one which is as close to this as possible while remaining comfortable.

Why we do Meditation

Meditation is the demand of present time in whole world or the demands of modern life, to get peace and to get rid of stressful life. Many people feel stressed and over-worked. It often feels like there is just not enough time in the day to get everything done. Stress and tiredness makes you unhappy, impatient and frustrated. It can even affect your health. You are often so busy you feel there is no time to stop and meditate! But meditation actually gives you more time by making your mind calmer and more focused.
